Wednesday Hodgepodge - April Fool's Style

If you would like to participate please visit Joyce by clicking on the button.

1.  April rolls in at the end of this week and in celebration of that infamous date (April 1) answer this question-what is something foolish you've done?
A- My boys say I am very gullible. So they decided to play a trick on me and tell me `gullible` is not in the dictionary. As someone who is gullible I started to look it up to see if they were right. Then it dawned on me they were playing a trick.

2. With April comes Easter and that classic edible treat known as tell me...what's your favorite way to eat/fix chicken? That's wasn't what you were expecting was it? I 'fooled' you. teehee
A- My favorite way to eat chicken is fried. However since I don't usually fry food -too messy- I only get it when someone else fixes it. I like to cook chicken casseroles.

3. What's the best museum you've ever visited? Or your favorite? Or the one you'd most like to visi…

Review: CSNStores Kellen Winslow Jr. Silver Coin Card

Imagine my son's surprise when I told him he could pick the next item for review. He searched the CSNStores NFL site to find the perfect item. He finally decided on the Highland Mint's Kellen Winslow Jr. Silver Coin Card.
When I asked him why he picked this item he said it contained the matched coin featuring Kellen Winslow Jr. of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The pack consists of a larger version of a standard sports collectors card with an action photo on the front and statistics and personal information on the back, embedded into a plastic card holder. There is a limited edition silver plated medallion with a smaller color photo of Kellen Winslow Jr. and an inscription on front and back side.
As my son is an avid collector of both sports cards and coins this may prove to be a valuable addition to his collections. It is sure to increase in value over the years.
If you or your child enjoys collec…

1. Sunday was the first day of spring. So they say. Ahem.
What is your favorite outdoor springtime activity?

A- I don't do much outdoor activities. But lately I've been dreaming of going camping. I do enjoy sitting outside while I read.

2. Who would you want to come into your kitchen to cook dinner for you?
A- Ok, these are hard questions today. I don't watch cooking shows so I really don't know much about them. Perhaps I would choose my mom. She has given me most of the recipes she's collected over the years and the only thing to top that is have her cook them.

3. When did you last fly a kite?
A- Bwahahaha....I had to laugh because every time I've tried flying a kite it didn't make it far off the ground. If someone got it flying for me it didn't take long for it to flop to the ground.

4. What topic puts you to sleep faster than anything?
A- the stock market....which I know nothing…

If you click over to YouTube to listen it will cast a vote for the family. The groups with the most "views" will be judged by the radio station. The winner will be able to sing at Christian Music Weekend at Six Flags. So click, watch and be blessed! Thanks!!

Wednesday Hodgepodge - St. Patrick's Style

If you would like to participate please visit Joyce by clicking on the button.

1. What would you do if you found a pot of gold? Let's pretend that pot of gold is worth exactly $1500 (which would actually be more like a cup of gold at current values). Anyway, let's also pretend you have to spend it as opposed to making a donation somewhere. Now, tell me what you would do with that
pot of gold?
A- I would most definitely put it towards our bills, aiming at becoming debt-free.

2. Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day in any way, shape, or form?
A- When I was a child I always made sure I wore green. Now I don't really celebrate it but try to remind my boys to wear green. Just so they won't get pinched.

3. Have you been bitten by the Spring Cleaning bug? What spring cleaning job most needs doing at your house? What spring cleaning job are you most dreading?
A- I am trying to do a bit of organizing. That is what really needs doing the most. I have several bind…

CSNStores have Wood Swing Sets and More

When I was a child I spent a lot of time outdoors. I loved to ride my bike, play with my imaginary, and real friends, and swing on a tire swing. I remember getting my first Jungle-Gym at age 9. It was more than just a swing, it had multiple functions.
CSNStores has swing sets and more. They have a great selection including metal and wood swing sets, backyard trampolines and playhouses. These are ideal for home and commercial playgrounds. Spring is fast approaching so now is the time to plan for outdoor activities. If you have young family members that may enjoy this activity you should check out CSNStores wide variety of high quality playground equipment.

Disclaimer: I will be receiving a $30 gift coupon toward any CSNStores product.
