Going Green For Beginners

February 7 - 11 is National Green Week.
Let me encourage you to spend time with your kids discussing environmental issues.
Don't know where to begin? Here are some tips you can start with.

Going Green tips:
(1) Turn off the water when brushing your teeth.
(2) Use canvas (reusable) grocery bags
(3) Time the length of your shower.
(4) Use cold water setting on washing machine.
(5) Pack your lunch in reusable containers.
(6) Use travel mugs instead of styrofoam.

I do all of those things, and I don't consider myself very green, so I guess I'm on the right path. :)

love it, I'm a nut with my grocery bags. I take them everywhere with me even when I buy clothes :)

I try to do most of these :)
